Celebrating Father’s Day - Part 2

There's no better way to show dad how much you love him than with a handmade gift so we've rounded up a few craft ideas for your kids.

Personalized Mini Potted Plant

Give dad a personalized plant with this easy craft idea! Here are the materials you'll need to gather for this project: (2) popsicle sticks, craft glue or tape, a printed photo, a small potted plant, and some scissors.

1. Take your kid to the store and let him/her choose a small potted plant for dad.

2. Select and print a clear picture where your kid and dad are both standing in the image.

3. Cut out dad and your kid from the photo.

4. Glue each cut out to a popsicle stick and insert them into the soil of the plant

That's it!

DIY Tile Coaster

Here's what you'll need: mod podge, paint brush, ceramic tile, Sharpie markers, acrylic sealer, and some felt.

1. After you've gathered all the materials, have your kid design the coaster using the Sharpies.

2. Once the design has completely dried, add a layer of mod podge with the paint brush.

3. After the mod podge is dried, spray the top of the tile with an acrylic sealer. Let it dry overnight before moving on to the final step.

4. Glue some felt pads to the bottom of the tile to prevent it from scratching any surfaces it comes in contact with.

Help your kiddo wrap up the gift after he/she is complete with the creation!

Happy crafting!
