Healthy, Quick Snacks
Being a mom and business owner is not the easiest combination for cooking and food prepping for the family. I always feel a little guilty grabbing a packaged snack out of the cupboard when my daughter wants a snack. However, 2022 is all about trying to be more intentional and conscious about my snack choices. Of course I will still have my moments when things are just too busy to even whip up a quick snack, but for now I have a few that are our favorites with things found in the pantry.
Toast with Peanut or Almond Butter and Fresh Fruit
Step 1: We always have a loaf of bread in our kitchen, so grabbing a few slices of bread to toast quickly for about 1-2 minutes has always been a go-to.
Step 2: Grab your jar of peanut or almond butter to spread across the toast.
Step 3: Slice up your favorite fruits for the toast. We personally love bananas and strawberries!
Step 4: Drizzle with a little bit of honey and sprinkle on some granola for a crunch!
Yogurt and Granola Bowls with Fresh Fruit
Step 1: Scoop half a cup of vanilla yogurt, or your favorite type of yogurt base, into a chilled bowl.
Step 2: Sprinkle on some granola on top the yogurt! We love Mix Mix LA -- a locally and small-batched made granola!
Step 3: Slice up your favorite fruit to place on top of the granola.
Step 4: Drizzle on some honey and ENJOY!
