Preparing for Your MPS Holiday Shoot
Our holiday shoot is coming up on December 5, 2021—are you prepared?! Luckily, even if you haven’t given it much of a thought, you’ll still be in good hands because we’ve designed these shoots to be as easy as possible!
The biggest decision you’ll have to make prior to attending your session is what to wear. Our custom, hand-illustrated backdrop is black and white, while the props provide cheerful pops of color (mostly shades of the primary colors—red, blue, and yellow—so they’re easy to coordinate around!). Take your holiday best out for a spin, or in a move sure to please the little ones, have them come in their holiday pajamas! Please note though, that in order to keep our set clean, we’ll ask that you either remove your shoes or ask you to wipe down the bottoms of your shoes.
We’re so thrilled to be partnering with the Southern California Children’s Museum in Pasadena, CA again—they will host our shoot, while a portion of the proceeds will go towards supporting their mission of bringing high-quality programming to young children. They, as well as our team at Magic Paper Studios, are very Covid-conscious and will be masked the entire time. Props will be sanitized between each session.
All of this is to say, there isn’t too much to do to prepare for your holiday shoot with us! The session will be 15 minutes long, which is perfect for little ones’ short attention spans (although they’ll probably want to stay longer because our interactive set is built around playfulness!). So find something festive to wear and come ready to play—we can’t wait to see you in front of the camera!
