Dino Education

We always loved incorporating a theme into teaching our little girl. With the stay-at-home order last year it was all about making education fun and interesting for both mommy and Lucy! I would ask Lucy what she would want to learn about, and from there I would brainstorm ways to create a fun week of a themed lesson. For one week she chose DINOSAURS!

I will be honest that I actually have never been interested in dinosaurs as a child, so it was important to make sure I knew as much as possible to teach Lucy and her friend. I searched online to find a printable dinosaur learning packet that is age appropriate and actually stumbled on one from Etsy. It was so affordable to purchase a downloadable file, and then sent it off to a local printer to print.

To make it more interactive for the kids, I created dinosaur capes from leftover fabric from other projects, and the kids had a blast doing their worksheets while being dinosaurs themselves.

For any kid a dinosaur-inspired snack is a must! I searched online for some inspiration and was able to create dinosaur art with fruit! The kids loved it and I must say it was pretty fun to create.
